1. Who is Tamatina?

Hi, we are based out of Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh, India and we specialise in home decoration artefacts from around the world. We travel places to find interesting things for your home & hear a lot of stories and see a lot of colors, hope you like them too.

2. What does Tamatina offer?

We go places and meet people and learn so many things and use that to make homes beautiful. We gather handicrafts and wall decor and paintings and little artifacts from Tibet, Jaipur, Pushkar, Orrisa, Bastar and so many more places, which are hard to find, has a soul and makes your already beautiful home, look more beautiful. Our products are great conversation starters, that’s for sure.

3. What are Tamatina Canvas Paintings made of?

Tamatina Canvas paintings are high end canvas painting made on Polyester Cotton Canvas using Oil based Eco solvent colors. They are made using digital printers specifically designed for high end art reproduction.

The paintings are easy to maintain and clean as the colors are Oil based and digitally printed, they stay on the Canvas for much longer than conventional hand painted canvas paintings. They are easy to main and can be cleaned using a damp cloth once in a while without any smudges in the color. All paintings will have an additional border on all sides which will be used during the framing process so no part of painting gets wasted.

4. Are Tamatina Canvas Paintings framed?

Some of our paintings are framed some are not. You can look for the framed painting option on the product page & if it’s there we will ship it framed and cost will be charged accordingly. The bigger the painting the costlier it is to ship them so we mostly ship small paintings to keep the cost reasonable. Also, besides the cost, we believe that framing is a very personal choice and it goes with your wall color, furniture color etc.

5. Can i get a Refund for the beautiful things in buy on Tamatina?

Certainly, without any questions asked we offer returns/refunds if requested. What’s important to understand & remember is that our return window is 72 hours/3 days from the time of delivery. Once return is requested, we will get in touch with you within 24 – 48 hours, understand your concern & resolve it. Once the product comes back to us the refund would be processed based on the condition of the product so please pack it the same way we shipped it to you so we are all happy.

6. Can I request a Replacement?

Definitely. If for any reason, any of our beautiful products reach you damaged or has any kind of a manufacturing defect, wrong size or wrong design shipped then please drop us an email on enquiries@tamatina.com and we will get the damaged product picked from you & dispatch a replacement immediately.

7. Can I Cancel the order once I have placed the order?

Yes of course, as long as the order is not dispatched, it can be cancelled & 100% amount will refunded back to your account. If cancellation is requested post-dispatch then we hold the right to deduct any courier charges based on reviewing the reason & situation.

If cancellation is requested post-dispatch of a COD order & if it’s a frequent affair then we hold the right to block and/or suspend the account. We end up wasting a lot of money in unnecessary cancellations courier charges & we could really use that to lower down our prices instead, and make our products more affordable, please take care.

8. Cash On Delivery possible?

Yes, Cash on delivery is available however only for India region. This is only where our courier partners BlueDart offers COD option & for an extra charge of Rs. 50.00, over & above the total order cost.

If your pin code is not serviceable by BlueDart & if we have to use Speed Post then COD option will not show up during checkout. If due to any system error it pickups your pin code incorrectly then we will get in touch with you and inform you so either you can choose a different payment option or cancel the order.

9. Who is going to deliver the package?

For India region our courier partners are BlueDart & Speed Post. If your area is not serviceable by BlueDart, only then we use Speed Post. Delivery deadline 3 – 8 business days.

For international delivers our courier partners are DHL Express, FedEx and UPS. Delivery duration is 7 – 9 business days.

10. What is the Dispatch and Delivery time?

  1. India region – Dispatched in 48 hours. BlueDart delivery deadline 2 – 3 business days, Speed Post delivery deadline 5 – 7 business days.
  2. International – Dispatch 48 hours. Delivered in 7 – 9 business days.

What if I don’t receive the package?

We keep an eye on all the packages all the time to ensure they are moving smoothly and reach you before the deadline. However, if for any reason, the package does not reach you as per the delivery deadline then please contact us at enquiries@tamatina.com so we can quickly get in touch with our courier partners and get the package delivered to you as soon as possible.

11. What if I don't receive the package?

We keep an eye on all the packages all the time to ensure they are moving smoothly and reach you before the deadline. However, if for any reason, the package does not reach you as per the delivery deadline then please contact us at enquiries@tamatina.com so we can quickly get in touch with our courier partners and get the package delivered to you as soon as possible.

12. Will the Courier Company message me before delivery?

Yes, our courier partners are very well behaved & professional & will always ensure the best service possible. Because they are awesome, they will inform you that the package is out for delivery with a phone no. of the delivery personnel so that you know who’s coming and you can contact the person for the best time possible.

If for any reason you are not happy with the delivery service or with the delivery personnel then please get in touch with us at enquiries@tamatina.com with your order details so we can take over the case and resolve your concern, in a blink of an eye.

13. What if i receive a Damaged product?

If the outer packaging is found damaged, which may have damaged the product inside too then please reject the package at the time of delivery and please inform us at +919630830112 or enquiries@tamatina.com so we understand the situation better and dispatch you a replacement.

14. Courier website says package delivered but i did not receive anything.

This happens sometimes due to incorrect update on the systems & you just need to inform us at enquiries@tamatina.com, so we can get this resolved as soon as possible. This usually takes not more than 1 – 2 business days and the package will be delivered to you.

15. BlueDart is not in my area but I want the package fast.

**This is for India region only.

As the eCommerce industry is still in its infancy and India being a pretty massive country as per the land mass, express shipping is still not possible in all pin codes across India.

Having said that, if you want the package faster, then you would have to collect the package from BlueDart local office. If that works out for you then please contact us at +919630830112 or enquiries@tamatina.com and we will arrange that to happen. Then you’re looking at a delivery deadline of 2 – 3 business days.

16. Is Express shipping chargeable?

No, please, we don’t cheat our patrons and ask for express delivery charges. Our regular delivery is express delivery, India or International & there is no express shipping charges associated with Tamatina.

17. I have placed the order but I'm not available at the time of delivery.

No worries, we can ask our courier partners to deliver it to an alternate address and if that’s not possible then they can keep the package with them for a week. If it’s longer than a week then we will call the package back, refund the amount back to you or dispatch it when you come back, as per your choice.

18. Can I send Tamatina products as Gifts to someone else?

Yes, gifts are so good and they bring happiness. Yes, you can do so by entering the details of the person you wish to send the gift to, in the Shipping information and the billing information can be yours. Additionally, you can select the gift wrap option and we will wrap it beautifully so your gift looks impressive, for no extra cost.

19. What are my Payment options?

We offer as many reasonable payment options as possible, and those include.

  1. Visa/MasterCard – Credit/Debit cards – All Indian and International cards.
  2. American Express.
  3. Net Banking – All major India banks.
  4. ATM Cards – All major India banks.
  5. Bank’s IMPS – All major India banks.

20. Will I get a discount if i order lots of products?

Yes, for sure. Here’s how.

  1. For purchase over Rs. 3,499.00 or equivalent as per your currency, an additional discount of 5% is given on the total order value.
  2. For purchase over Rs. 4,999.00 or equivalent as per your currency, an additional discount of 10% is given on the total order value.
  3. For purchase over Rs. 9,999.00 or equivalent as per your currency, an additional 12.5% discount is given on the total order value.

21. Will delivery be Free?

**This is for India region only.

Yes, if the order value is equals to or more than Rs. 699.00, then automatically no delivery charges will be added to the final order value. If the order value is less than Rs. 699.00 then Rs. 49 will be added to the bill as courier charges.

For COD orders under Rs. 699.00, delivery charges Rs. 49.00 + COD charges Rs. 50, will be charged accordingly. For COD orders of more than or equal to Rs. 699.00, only COD charges of Rs. 50 will be added to the final bill.

22. Can i request for a GST invoice so I can claim Input taxes?

**This for India region only.

Yes of course, you will receive an electronic invoice for the order, on your email. If you’d like us to send you an Invoice with your company details then please use the same details the billing information along with your GSTIN number. The details you enter should match exactly with the GST registration details for you to receive the input credit you seek.

23. Which Tax rate am I paying?

**This for India region only.

After implementation of GST in India, the taxes are now divided into 5 categories. 0%, 5%, 12%, 18% & 28%. Different products have different taxes based on their make and materials used and you will be able to see the taxes which you are paying at the checkout window. The prices seen on Tamatina are all inclusive of taxes however the exact breakdown can only been seen during checkout.

24. I have a Discount coupon, can I use it?

Yes, for sure. All discount coupons can be used as long as they are valid. No coupon can be used twice and the coupons cannot be clubbed together for a single purchase. If you are facing any problems with using a discount coupon for the first time then please contact us at enquiries@tamatina.com, with the coupon number so we can check and resolve your concern.

25. How long does it take for a Refund to come back to my account?

Refunds are processed within 48 hours from the time we get the package back to us and it would take 3 – 4 business days for the funds to come back to your account. If for any reason the funds don’t come back to your account till then, then please check with your bank & please contact us at enquiries@tamatina.com and we will look into it and resolve it as soon as possible.

26. How long does it take for a cancellation to come back to my account?

Once cancellation is processed based on the condition of the cancellation, the funds would take 3 – 4 business days to come back to your account. If for any reason the funds don’t come back to your account till then, then please check with your bank & please contact us at enquiries@tamatina.com and we will look into it and resolve it as soon as possible.

27. I really liked something but it's out of Stock now.

We are constantly trying to source the same products again but because they are mostly handmade, the supply is not endless and we believe it makes it even more special. If in case you like something and it’s out of stock then please click on the inform me button and if we are able to get the same thing, you will receive a notification. If we are unable to, we promise we would get something even better.

28. I ordered for something else but receive something else instead.

We are very sorry if that happened and we assure you that it’s an innocent mistake and we will correct it as soon as we know from you. We request you to please take 2 clear pictures of the product which you receive and share them at enquiries@tamatina.com along with your order details. This way we would know what went wrong and quickly fix it for you.

29. I received something I never ordered.

Congratulations, you have a secret admirer. On a serious note, it can be a gift from a friend or a family so please check once. If it’s a COD order and you are being asked to pay and you don’t know if you had ordered or someone else for you, then simply reject the package and don’t pay for it.

If it’s a paid order and you still don’t know if it was you or someone else, then do as you please with it.

30. Can I place Bulk orders?

Yes, we have a lot of Hotels, hospitals, architects who source products from us in bulk and of course there is a better price in the picture if the order quality is decent. Please contact us at enquiries@tamatina.com so we can understand your request better and help you.

31. When and How can I contact Tamatina?

32. Which is the address to Return the products?

The following address can be used to send the products back to us, only in case of accepted returns.
